Sarika Tandon is an educator, speaker, consultant and facilitator who works to support racial and environmental justice. She centers an intersectional race equity lens, mixed with humor, love, storytelling, and a deep belief in everyone’s dignity.

What we mean by ‘racial equity’:

In a racially equitable society:

• BIPOC people have the power to influence the systems and policies impacting their lives and communities

• Past inequities are acknowledged and addressed

• One’s access to resources, safety, infrastructure, well-being and a healthy environment are not disproportionately influenced by race, ethnicity, and indigeneity.

• Power and resources are redistributed towards communities and individuals who have experienced racial oppression

Who we work with

Rise Consulting partners with environmental and climate leaders, communities and organizations that are actively motivated and working to eliminate racial inequities and to generate tangible impacts that improve the well-being of BIPOC communities. We collaborate with leaders and organizations at the individual, programmatic, and institutional levels.
